This is the first message of a two-part series entitled “A Biblical Worldview.” The second part will be preached on November 1st. This timely topic is intended to help Christians identify what a Christian worldview should be as they prepare to vote. The key verse for this message is Proverbs 14:34, which says:

Righteousness exalts a nation,
But sin is a disgrace to any people.

October 11 was Mission Sunday at Scotsdale and the sermon, “Missionaries and the Church,” was from 3 John 5-8 which says:

Dear friend, you are acting faithfully in whatever you do for the brothers and sisters, especially when they are strangers. They have testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God, since they set out for the sake of the Name, accepting nothing from pagans. Therefore, we ought to support such people so that we can be coworkers with the truth.

We also had presentations from two missionaries, updating us on how God is working through their ministries. Their presentations are included in the video linked below.

September 27th’s sermon, “The Family of God” was from 1 Timothy 5:1-2, which says:

Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but rather appeal to him as a father, to the younger men as brothers, the older women as mothers, and the younger women as sisters, in all purity.
